Earlier on today we set up a dinning tent. We were sitting in the dining tent, dinning, as one would do, when a humming bird flew into the tent. Lynda freaked out... a little.... After a moment or two, she wanted me to quickly grab my phone and capture nature's ADHD flying machine in a picture. Sorry, it didn't happen. As quick as he (or she) came, it was gone. Momentary blessing. Can't capture them, but you sure are glad you were present when it happened.

A near trip to Kansas and a Blurr in our tent
Last night was quite a blow! About two o'clock the wind picked up to such a pitch it was rocking the trailer. Realizing our awning was out like a mast, we quickly and blindly, I might add, ran out into the night to put it away. Success and none worse for wear! Praise God! In fact it was quite invigorating! Of course I couldn't get back to sleep for hours. How true of the Christian faith. Sometimes God wakes us out of our slumber with something that seems frightful and yet invigorating; something that reminds you that you are alive. It would seem that the times that we are in are doing that very thing. It bids us, "Rise up oh man of God".

Tearing up downtown...
Sad to think that the downtown area might be torn up to accomdate the lite rail. It will radically change the feel not mention congest the snot out of the downtown area. To think that a 50 to a 90 meter rail will have to turn left onto Neilson from Main or vice versa is mind boggling! Who are these city planners? I think a twelve year old with SimCity could do better in figuring out public transit.
It works!
Last night we tried to do a draft and publish it when we had Internet. Worked like a charm! Now it's time to get feed back from you the public!
